1. The student puts forward a CV, and Contact Form detailing the internship period and the discipline or sector.
2. Subsequently we will look at the CV with the subjects, language skills, relevant work experience and a recent photograph.
3. We, then look for a company or organization that suits the discipline and the wishes of the institute and the student. Alumno Astralis will make an effort to make a suitable match between the demand of the student and the offer of the company.
4. The next step is that we will organize your housing.
5. We then organize your Residence Permit / Visa for Mauritius.
6. When you are ready to book your flight we will guide you finding the best deal. We have a special arrangement with British Airways for European Students to fly London - Mauritius.
7. At the outset we will introduce the student at the company.

Q. What is the remuneration for the Alumno Astralis student ?
A. Our experience in Mauritius is that companies tend to give a remuneration. In Mauritius, due to visa regulations, students will have to sign a statement that they do not get involved in gainful activities. However, companies tend to pay a stipend to cover expenses. In Mauritius, we aim for your housing, travel expenses and daily lunch expenses to be reimbursed. However, this cannot be guaranteed since it is up to the discretion of the individual companies.

Q. What are the costs involved ?
A. We can indicate that a student will have to take into consideration an amount of 585 euro for organizing the placement, the housing and the residence permit in Mauritius. Please be aware that we may charge a last minute fee in case we start our work for you less than 6 weeks before the start of your internship, so please do not leave it too late, also in view of the Residence Permit that you will require. Moreover, you will have to budget for your return flight, your housing and your insurances. Please note, that we have a special arrangement with British Airways, for European students so that you can have a good deal for your flight London - Mauritius with connecting flights to Amsterdam, Dusseldorf and other European cities. Prices for return flights start from 735 euro. The cost of living in Mauritius is cheaper than in Europe. Including your monthly rent your monthly cost will be 400 - 500 euro.
